Computer applications and systems have become an essential role in various fields, which makes the presence of professionals trained in these applications imperative to keep pace with technological development and meet the needs of the labor market in the information technology sector. The Department of Information Technology includes a comprehensive range of courses covering various aspects of computing and its applications. The department also provides opportunities for software research and development with the aim of solving real problems facing the local market. General objectives of the program: Preparing students to work in the fields of maintenance and repair of computers and computer networks, in addition to installing, operating, and managing local and extended networks. Providing our students with the necessary skills to develop and design attractive and functional websites, in addition to a deep understanding of network and server management. The program also seeks to provide students with the knowledge, specialized and general skills, and mental abilities necessary to keep pace with technological developments in the field of information technology. In short, the program aims to achieve the goals pursued by students, and meet the needs of the labor market in the information technology sector.
